Flanders 2021 Ride - Antwerpen
Flanders 2021 Ride Antwerpen
On 25 September 2021 you will explore the city of Antwerp by bike, which will be the setting for the start of the road races of the U23 men, elite women and Men Elite that week. Along the way, you will encounter four colourful UCI Road World Championships villages for the whole family. In those four squares you will find performances, activities and extra entertainment. This happening is the ideal opportunity to get to know Antwerp in an alternative and fun way!
The course and programme can still be adjusted in function of the World Championship races.
For this fun afternoon, it is of course recommended to come by bike. If you do come by car, you can park in one of the many "Park & Ride" car parks in the city of Antwerp. From there, you can take your bike to the track.
You can find everything about mobility during Flanders 2021 on our website. Tip : use Google Maps or Waze for the quickest routes.
There will be no need to present a Covid Safety Ticket. This means that mouth masks will be mandatory in the 4 World Championships squares and you will have to take into account the distance rules there.
The route of about 10 kilometres takes you along different squares. Each square becomes a real theme park full of World Cup experiences. Follow the arrows and pass by the following beautiful locations.

The organisers advise everyone to avoid any form of strenuous physical activity for which they are not adequately prepared. Make sensible choices about the distance you ride and/or the pace you set for yourself. Anyone who aims to improve performance and compete at a high intensity should see a doctor or a specialised sports physician annually for a check-up.
There is no requirement to produce a medical certificate. It is up to the participant to decide how to use the information resulting from a medical check-up. The organisers cannot be held liable in this respect.
IMPORTANT: if you have symptoms of COVID-19, we ask you to stay at home!
